Visiting Scholars

The Centre for Energy Ethics (CEE) welcomes visiting scholars and students who wish to spend time in the Centre’s interdisciplinary research community.  Visiting scholars may apply to visit the Centre for a period of 1 to 12 months, whether for a short research visit or for an extended stay during sabbatical leave from their own university.

In the first instance, visiting scholars and students should contact Centre Director Dr Mette High or another academic host within the Centre, who will make a proposal to the Head of School and Director of Research.  Upon approval the academic host will complete the University’s Visiting Scholar Notification Form.

Visiting scholars and students are encouraged to attend Centre and School events, such as research seminars, workshops and other activities.  Visiting scholars and students will be charged a fee as a contribution towards the cost of providing access to computer facilities, building facilities and the University library and collections.  Access to specific research facilities, including labs, technical equipment and rare collections, must be discussed in advance.

The University has further information for visiting scholars and students along with information regarding fees.
