Biography
Shona Russell is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Management at the University of St Andrews. Her research interests are three-fold: the contribution of accounting to sustainability, accountability in water governance, and more recently, science-business collaboration for biosphere stewardship. With experience of research in Scotland and New Zealand, Shona has established networks in Europe and Australasia.
Dr Russell is currently Co-Director of the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research – a leading research centre in the field of accounting. She is working with colleagues to assess climate literacy and develop a global community of practice to transform accounting and finance education.
Her publications include special issues of journals, articles and book chapters.
