This position offers experienced post-doctoral candidates an opportunity to develop into a future research leader in social studies of energy, as part of the UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC). You will investigate UK policy, politics, and material change in local and regional energy systems, in the context of devolved government, and diverging energy and climate strategies. You will also act as UKERC Local and Regional Energy Systems Deputy Theme Leader, working with Ronan Bolton and Janette Webb. As a UKERC research fellow, you will be part of a world-class, interdisciplinary research team, committed to advancing sustainable energy systems. UKERC activities include engaging with stakeholders, supporting researcher career development, and enhancing international collaboration for a transition to a net zero emissions energy system and economy.
