Data for Progress is hiring a Climate and Energy Program Intern to help expand their mission to empower movements using data. As an intern, you’ll work closely with Data for Progress’ climate team to advance progressive climate and energy policy, focusing on the implementation of federal, state, and local government programs for renewable energy, carbon removal, and transmission, among other issues. You will help execute and disseminate Data for Progress polling, research, and policy proposals regarding climate, energy, and the environment. 


This position is paid ($20/hr) and fully remote, with the ability to work in person at our D.C. office if desired. This internship will require a commitment of 15-20 hours per week with scheduling flexibility depending on the candidate’s availability and other commitments. This role will ideally begin September 3rd, 2024 and continue through the 2024 fall semester.
