We are thrilled to announce that we have added three new members to our Advisory Board. Samantha Lister, Vicky Ward and Amanda Skinner will join the 8-person strong team alongside Nina Laurie, James Harris, Frank Müller, Robin L Swank, and Venkataraman Thangadurai.
Samantha Lister is the Director of the Global Office at University of St Andrews, providing leadership to global activities which enhance student mobility and experience, academic reputation and research connectivity internationally.
Vicky Ward is a Reader in Management in the Department of Management and Director of Impact and Innovation for the University of St Andrews Business School. Her area of research is ‘knowledge mobilisation’ – focusing on the role of academic and other forms of knowledge in policy and practice and how professionals create and share knowledge with one another.
Amanda Skinner, having joined the University of St Andrews in 2023, brings over a decade of experience in higher education strategic communications, including partnership development, outreach, and engagement initiatives.
Together the board provides essential feedback on Centre activities, helping us not only to set ambitious but realistic long- and short-term goals, but also setting us on the right path to achieving those goals. We are excited to have been able to put together a strong, interdisciplinary team. With the collective expertise on the Board, we look forward to continuing to build upon the excellent work done in and around the Centre for Energy Ethics.
“Having a strong board with excellent and diverse representation is key.” said CEE Director Professor Mette High on this announcement, “Everyone brings their own experiences and insights to our work, helping us avoid potential blind-spots while staying focussed on achieving our mission. Together, we work towards making the CEE the best it can be and I’m excited to welcome our three new Board members to the team.”
