The Centre for Energy Ethics are delighted to offer a scholarship opportunity to support students in conducting high-quality, independent research projects. The CEE Dissertation Research Grant will award successful applicants with up to £500 to go towards research-related expenses relating to the applicant’s dissertation. These expense may be – but are not limited to – travel and accommodation costs related to research activities, access to archives, sources or datasets, or lab access.
The CEE Dissertation Research Grant is open to St Andrews Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate students from all disciplines and subject areas whose dissertation research relates to energy, climate change, climate action, and/or ‘just transition’. Upon completion of their dissertation research, all grant holders will be invited to publish their research by writing a post for The Energy Blog and/or recording a segment for the All About Energy podcast.
Applications for Semester One will close on Friday 8 November 2024.
This scholarship is available through the CEE Dissertation Research Grant Scheme application form. Prospective applicants can access this application through the Scholarships and funding catalogue in the Scholarships and Funding section in MySaint. As part of the application, applicants are required to upload a letter of support from their dissertation supervisor.
