Creative Scotland has provided financial support through its Scottish Government Open Project Funding Programme, Ref. No. CS-1602-19799/GD12868.

Creative Scotland is the public body that supports the arts, screen and creative industries across all parts of Scotland on behalf of everyone who lives, works or visits here. It enables people and organisations to develop great ideas and bring them to life.

The Russell Trust of University of St Andrews has also provided significant financial support through a Russell Trust Development Award (ST1513). The Fife-based Russell Trust has been a generous supporter of the University for many years.

Founded in 1947 in memory of Captain Pat Russell, an alumnus who was killed in the Second World War, the trust has facilitated excellent opportunities for staff, students and the wider community.

I also gratefully acknowledge the financial support received from the Centre for Cosmopolitan Studies, Department of Social Anthropology, University of St Andrews.

Since its inception in 2009, the Centre for Cosmopolitan Studies (CCS) has been a venue for understanding cosmopolitanism as a range of ideals diversely manifested in contemporary experience. The Centre convenes seminars and conferences, hosts visiting fellows, funds studentships and has its own annual publication.
