Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the CEE

The Centre for Energy Ethics (CEE) is committed to building and supporting a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community of staff, students, researchers, and civil society members.

This means working to eradicate discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, disability, age, faith, neurodiversity, gender, and sexual orientation inside and outside the walls of the Centre. It also means cultivating a safe, welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment within the CEE, where everyone feels empowered to contribute and thrive.

Our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion aligns with the University of St Andrews’ commitment to upholding the Equality Act, its commitments under the Public Sector Equality Duty, and its own EDI policies and guidelines.

If you have thoughts or ideas about how to enhance equality, diversity, or inclusion within the CEE, we want to hear from you. We also welcome expressions of interest from people interested in joining the EDI Committee.
