Biography
Brigitte Nerlich is Professor of Science, Language and Society at the Institute for Science and Society at the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham. She directs a large research programme funded by the Leverhulme Trust entitled ‘Making Science Public: Challenges and Opportunities’ and she is the social science lead on Responsible Research and Innovation within the University of Nottingham’s Synthetic Biology Research Centre. She has written many books and articles on topics spanning the humanities and social sciences.
