Biography

Ava Rawson is an early career social scientist studying the intersection of energy, sustainability, and equity. She received a First-Class Joint-Honours at the University of St Andrews, followed by a MSc with Distinction at Durham University, with both courses placing a strong emphasis on applied research methodologies. After working at the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, she is pursuing a PhD in Anthropology at Oxford on the liability structuring of decommissioned offshore and gas infrastructure.
