Biography

Aparna’s research looks at comparing international and regional development efforts by the state to understand if the nature of development changes depending on its location. Her PhD explores UK’s investment in development infrastructure, specifically renewable energy infrastructure, both within the UK and internationally. She is interested in studying the intersection between post-colonial, post-development and development as intentional and inherent theories. Her work explores the link between development and organizations.
