Biography
Annabel Pinker is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow (2015-18) at the James Hutton Institute in Aberdeen. She completed her Ph.D. in Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge in 2010, and her subsequent research has explored decentralisation, political experimentation, and emerging forms of state power in Peru. She has recently begun a three year project on the material politics of renewable energy and energy decentralisation in Scotland.
