Biography
Amy Penfield is a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Latin American Studies, University of London. She received her PhD in Anthropology from the London School of Economics in 2015, focusing on themes of material and ethical value in Venezuelan Amazonia. Her current research interests include Bolivarian socialism, energy, and indigenous encounters with the state.
