There are two exciting opportunities for researchers working in the fields of sustainability, air pollution and health at Boston University.
One project is a three-year project in collaboration with Dr. Sarav Arunachalam at UNC, and a group at RMI. It is focused on health impacts of building use of fossil fuels and building electrification in the U.S. using BenMAPR, an air pollution health impact assessment platform written in R. The ideal start date for this is January 1, 2024.
The other is a one-year project in collaboration with Dr. Veronica Southerland at EDF that will build out BenMAPR for Mexico and use it to evaluate health impacts of NOx in oil & gas production regions, using satellite data. they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible
