There is an opening for two fully-funded PhD positions on high-carbon energy imaginaries, focussing on evolving carbonscapes for coal and oil. Both are linked to a new research project funded by the Swedish Research Council, led by Magdalena Kuchler at Uppsala University in collaboration with Gavin Bridge at Durham University. They are looking for two motivated students to join them on this project.
Description of the two positions are available: one focuses on hard coal and lignite in Poland, the other on oil and petrochemicals in the UK.
