The Department of Land Economy at Cambridge is looking to appoint a Research Associate whose work will contribute to the launch of the Bloomberg Cambridge University Corporate Bond Index later in 2025 and the delivery of the ongoing research programme related to the index project. The successful candidate will undertake desk-based reviews, data collection and analysis, written outputs, and the dissemination of research findings to different audiences, including through investor briefings and academic publications.
PhD (submitted or near submission at the time of application) in a relevant field, or, for candidates without a PhD, substantial and demonstrable research skills (academic or professional) that reflect equivalent research capability.
Salary Ranges: Research Associate (Grade 7): £37,174 -£45,413. Those on an academic pathway who have submitted but not yet received their PhD will initially be appointed as a Research Assistant (Grade 5): £34, 132 – £35,166) moving to Research Associate (Grade 7) upon confirmation of your PhD award.
