Energy-in-Motion Galleries – Neil Gordon Davey



Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Neil Gordon Davey is a 3rd year PhD candidate in the Programme for Innovation for Sustainability at the Faculty of Technology, Art & Design, Department of Art, Design & Drama, OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. Neil is becoming recognized for his innovative contributions to energy transitions research through arts-based methods like participatory photography and photo-elicitation. His current research captures local perspectives on energy development, particularly in remote areas such as the Orkney Islands, combining visual anthropology with energy social science to promote an inclusive and empathetic understanding of energy transitions.
