St Andrews GREAT Scholarship
St Andrews GREAT Scholarship is open to citizens of China, Ghana, Indonesia, Mexico & Thailand. The scheme awards students with interests beyond their studies & a desire to broaden their personal & academic experience. Awards of £10,000 are available for full-time postgraduate taught Masters programmes (MSc, MRes, MLitt, MPP) across all subject areas.
Applications close 24 May 2026.
R&A Ransome Scholarship
The R&A Ransome Scholarship is available to graduate students from Canada, Mexico and the USA entering a one-year taught postgraduate masters course (e.g. MLitt, MSc) who have well-rounded interests & leadership skills. Applications close on 4 February 2026.
Perth and Kinross Educational Trust Grant
Grants may be available for students in further or higher education, including mature students and postgraduates, who were born or attended school in Perth and Kinross.

The Charles and Barbara Tyre Trust
The Trust offers financial help to young people under the age of 25 years, who seek financial assistance to improve their qualifications, retrain or through disability, wish to benefit from a re-creative holiday.
Applicants must be under 25 years of age, have completed their school education, and be able to satisfy the governors that they are of the Protestant faith and that they reside in the former County of Argyll – which includes Kinlochleven but excludes Helensburgh and the Island of Bute.
Completed on-line applications – available here – must be received no later than 31 May in any year and successful applicants will be notified after decisions are made toward the end of August. Applications received after the closing date will not normally be considered except in exceptional circumstances.
Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award
The Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award acknowledges and celebrates women who demonstrate exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, ethical conduct and make significant contributions to their respective industries while addressing global or local issues affecting women and girls or climate justice.
Zonta International offers 10 international awards of US$10,000 each and a complimentary one-year supporting membership in Zonta International for the next financial year.
Applicants must locate a Zonta club near them by using the Club Locator at zonta.org/locateaclub to receive the deadline and an address to submit application to, or for assistance, email your name and contact information to Zonta International Headquarters at [email protected]. Note that applications must be submitted to a Zonta club or district in the language(s) accepted by the club or district by the deadline printed on the application. Only typed applications will be accepted and considered.
Snowdon Trust Masters Scholarship
The Snowdon Trust Masters Scholarship has been designed to identify and accelerate exceptional disabled students through higher education, creating the influencers of the future.
The scholarship is open to home and international disabled students who have the qualities needed to create change. The Snowdon Trust are looking for applicants who can communicate their aspiration to become an exceptional leader, a role model, or a pioneer in their area of expertise.
Applications for the 2026 Snowdon Masters Scholarship round will open on 23 February 2026. The closing date will be 19 March 2026.

Discretionary Fund
UK Students who have financial difficulties can apply to the Support Fund. This is funding provided by the government to assist both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Student Services aims to give priority to certain groups of students:
- Students with at least one dependent child
- Care-experienced students
- Estranged students
- Students who are carers
- Students with extra costs due to health and disability.
Student Services also aims to make awards to students who can show a Student Services Adviser that their essential expenditure exceeds their income. See the Scholarships Website for more information.
Worsfold Otago Scholarship
The University of St Andrews has recently announced the Worsfold Otago Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to enable New Zealand graduates to undertake a one-year postgraduate taught Masters programme of study at the University of St Andrews.

AD Links Foundation PGT Scholarships
Full-time postgraduate taught Masters (one-year MLitt, MSc, MRes, MPP) applicants living in the UK (with Home fee status) or from the EU starting a new course in the next Academic Year can apply. The scholarship is open to all areas of study and is based on academic merit. An interest in sport (particularly golf) is preferred, although not essential.
The deadline for applications is 8 April 2026 (UK) or 4 February 2026 (EU).

St Andrews Sanctuary Scholarship
The University is pleased to provide a Sanctuary Scholarship, specifically designed to support undergraduate and postgraduate applicants who are seeking sanctuary in the UK. Applications close 22 April 2026.
The Sanctuary Scholarship is open to any applicant that has an official Home Office status as one of the following:
- Asylum Seeker
- Refugee
- Humanitarian protection (with forced migration background)
- Limited leave to remain (with forced migration background)
- Discretionary leave to remain (with forced migration background)
In order for us to consider you for ‘Home’ tuition fee status, please ensure you have provided us with the correct information.
Any immigration status changes will not adjust your tuition fee status during your course.

St Leonards Masters Scholarships
A range of scholarships based on academic excellence, non-academic excellence and financial need is available for both UK and international students. If you are applying as an International student, please visit the St Leonards Masters Scholarship International webpage.
The St Leonard’s Masters Scholarship application encourages you to draw on your academic, professional and life experiences to demonstrate resilience, resourcefulness and commitment. This may include excellence and leadership in areas such as sport, music, theatre or civic duty as well as in academic work.
