The University of Toronto Scarborough invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Canada Excellence Research Chair’s Network for Equity in Sustainability Transitions (CERC NEST).
This position will help the CERC NEST advance interdisciplinary research on equity-centred sustainability transitions in cities, examining how governance, innovations, narratives, and collaborations among communities, governments, and civil society organizations shape equity and justice outcomes. Through comparative and community-engaged research in Toronto, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and other international urban contexts, the program investigates how the co-production of actionable knowledge can foster inclusive decision-making, address systemic inequities in climate and energy policy, and support more just and effective urban sustainability transitions.
Applications should be submitted by April 4, 2026, to: [email protected]
