The Scottish Research Alliance for Energy, Homes and Livelihoods (SRAEHL) has published its 2024-25 Annual Report. The report showcases the impact of the Alliance’s seed funded projects, its support for early career professionals, and demonstrates case studies that highlight progress toward a fair, inclusive, and decarbonised energy future.
Funded by the Scottish Funding Council and led by CEE Director Professor Mette High, the SRAEHL is a cross-sector collaborative research Alliance, supporting Scotland’s net zero goals and highlighting the importance of a just transition. With theme leads from the Universities of St Andrews, Edinburgh, Strathclyde and Stirling and a network of over 300 stakeholders, the Alliance represents a truly nation-wide effort to combine Scotland’s world-class energy and climate research with its innovative industry, policymakers and local communities.
Alliance Manager Gayle Erwin said, “Over the past year, we’ve turned ideas into action, catalysing collaboration, enabling progress, and supporting meaningful growth across projects and partnerships, and we’re excited to keep building this momentum together into the future.”
