SUMMARY:Fringe of Gold – Art of Energy Compositions
DESCRIPTION:A while ago, in collaboration with the Laidlaw Music Centre, we issued a call for composers. We were looking to commission four composers to create new work based on the Centre’s Art of Energy virtual exhibition. The winners were announced in August 2021:\nEmma Arandjelović, responding to artwork by Katerina Evangelou\nTom Green, responding to artwork by Adam Sebire\nNeil Tomas Smith, responding to artwork by Ted Leeming\nSarah Horick, responding to artwork by Natasha Awuku\nWe are delighted to say that the four winning compositions will be performed as part of the Fringe of Gold festival on:\nFriday, 19th November 13:00 – 14:00, in the McPherson Recital Room, Laidlaw Music Centre. \nEveryone is welcome and no booking is required.
